The war between Russia and Ukraine is the most highlighted conflict of the 21st century. The special military operation launched by Russia against Ukraine since February 24, 2022 has a huge impact on the world struggling to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. This war brought Russia and the Western world into the brink of economic recession and also dragged most of countries in the world. Millions of people are starving in Africa and global inflation is at 10 percent, the highest since the 1980s.
The world is divided in response to the military attacks of Russia and Ukraine. Although almost all countries in the world condemned the attack, the countries which agreed to the various sanctions against Russia were dominated by European Union Countries, Anglo-Saxon Countries, and Close Allies. The majority of Asian, Middle Eastern, African, and Latin American countries tend to choose not to take sides. The world is entering a polarization unprecedented since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War in 1991.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is actually a conflict between Russia and the West, where Ukraine becomes a riding proxy of Western countries. The Russian-Ukrainian war is not as simple as it seems on the surface. The Propaganda of both sides leaves most people without understanding the real problems in this conflict. This book attempts to thoroughly explore the Russian-Ukrainian war and its causal factors.
